ENGINEERING SAFETY WORLDWIDE

Mineralka d.o.o is renowned for providing cutting-edge solutions across multiple industries. Our products are integral to fire-protection systems for walls, ceilings, ventilation ducts, doors, and inspection openings. We also specialize in non-combustible furniture, steel structure protection, and safety solutions for personal elevators.

These innovative solutions are utilized in diverse sectors such as the construction, shipbuilding, rail, chemical, and military industries. For over 40 years, we have been marketing and delivering high-quality fire protection products on all continents, ensuring safety and reliability in critical applications.

As the world’s largest user of vermiculite, Mineralka d.o.o leads the market in producing vermiculite boards. Safety and protection are in our DNA. That is why we developed unique enclosures for the safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries. Our active RACLAN boxes and RAMBSS modules, as well as the passive XELLBOXES, protect people, animals, and the environment from the devastating consequences of thermal runaway.

OUR HISTORY

1980
Foundation Founded as Brest Mineralka d.o.o, the company began as part of TOZD Tovarne pohištva Brest Cerknica. After years of intensive R&D, we pioneered the production of non-combustible mineral panels under the brand Negor.
1995
Strategic Acquisition Brest Mineralka d.o.o was acquired by the Austrian company Isovolta AG, part of the Constantia ISO Holding group, and our core panels were rebranded to FIPRO to meet evolving global market demands.
1997 – 2001
Industry Expansion We introduced the FIPRO MS panel designed specifically for the rigorous demands of shipbuilding, followed closely in 2001 by the SF panel, tailored for the thermal engineering industry.
2004
Ownership and Development Mineralka became part of the German group Techno-Physik, launching a period of steady growth and strategic modernization. This new ownership shifted focus onto advanced finishing processes—including high-quality lamination, curved and wrapped components, precision cutting, CNC machining, and milling—supported by continuous investments in state-of-the-art equipment.
2019 – 2021
Capacity Expansion Completed the installation of a new production line for cold-pressed molded elements, reaching full operational status in 2020. This jump in volume catalyzed further development, resulting in the construction of a new warehouse and dedicated office facility to handle growing storage demands.
2021 – 2023
Market Responsiveness In response to a severe thermal-technology market capacity shortage of roughly three million units annually, Mineralka developed a major investment proposal. The project secured approval for the 2024–2025 investment cycle, paving the way for infrastructural expansion.
2024
Infrastructural & Product Innovation Completed a brand-new production building to house upcoming machinery upgrades. Concurrently, innovation surged with the rollout of Xellbox—a non-combustible safety unit engineered specifically for the secure storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries.
2025
The P3 Line & Advanced Suppression The new P3 cold-pressing line officially kicked off operations, dramatically accelerating the company's production flexibility. Mineralka also acquired the technical know-how for Raclan, introducing internal production for battery charging units built with integrated fire-suppression systems.
Today
Pioneering Battery Safety Our commitment to innovation continues with the development of industry-leading Lithium-Ion safety enclosures, including RACLAN, RAMBSS, and XELLBOX systems, safeguarding the future of energy storage on global markets.
